How do I get started?

Sometimes, you need to know what you’re dealing with before you can decide how to move forward. This is especially true in the case of art – we don’t always know what it’s worth, or to do with it. Sell? Donate? Keep and insure?

Whether you’ve inherited a mystery artwork or decided to part with a piece that no longer suits your style, having a sense of the current resale market for your art will help you determine the best course of action.

Consider purchasing our Starting Point Package: a one-time consultation consisting of a half-hour of resale market research for one or two artworks combined with answers to your questions and recommendations for next steps, as needed. Fill out a form with details of your artwork, submit some photographs and feel the relief that comes from starting the process. Average turnaround time is one to two business days.

While I will share relevant auction records, etc., whenever possible, this package consists of market research only and does not include an appraisal or opinion of value. No written report will be provided. Research will be based solely on the submitted details and images, and I make no guarantee that artworks will realize any specific price if sold.
